Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs
Right Now, I would say most people have old fashion incandescent light bulbs. Most people do not know this but the switch to compact fluorescent light bulbs uses 75% less energy. Although to some the change seems very easy, others are not that convinced. There are many pros and cons to having compact fluorescent light bulbs.
PROS:
A lot of long term savings
A traditional 75 watt incandescent light bulb produces 1170 lumens of light and last an average of 750 hours.
Lumens by the way are what light is measured by.
The same lightbulb with compact fluorescent reincarnation produces 1170 lumens using only 20 watts of electricity.
You save like i said above 75 % energy
The financial view on things is the light bulb will last “six to eleven times longer than the incandescent light bulbs”.
Average household accounts for 8.8% of total household electricity consumption, If you change to the compact fluorescent light bulbs you can save 7% on your monthly electrical bill which to anyone is A LOT.

CONS:
The cost of it turn people off.
Some local giveaway places strictly limit the number of bulbs per a customer as well.
Some people do not like the look of the bulb or they do not like the light the bulb produces.
The use of small amount of mercury in each bulb.
If one bulb is broken it first starts out as annoying but then it starts out very dangerous and it is important for everyone to make it a safe place and throw it away at safe hazardous waste facility. That spill can make that area very hazardous so please do not drop it or if you do go straight to a safe hazardous waste facility to throw it out.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS!
We believe everyone should still make the switch because look at all the pros we have up there. For the cons, it saves you way more money in the long run which cancels that off. Even if they strictly limit the number of bulbs per a customer it is still really easy to find other places to get some. If you do not like the way it looks or the light it produces we have a solution for that too. Now, since technology has become so much greater there is a variety of lighting fixture and bulb shading options to hide the bulb from your view. For the amount of mercury, and dropping it that is simple just do not drop it or if you do just make sure you throw it away in a safe hazardous waste facility. All in all, changing to compact fluorescent light bulbs we believe is for the better and it will make our world a better place.
